Membership Information

It is vital for the food industry to be united for the well-being of all.

Along with California, New York has the most legislative and regulatory activity on food safety concerns and environmental issues. Our membership consists of:

  • 11 Food Processor Members
  • 202 Wine Producer Members
  • 9 Refrigerated Warehouse Members
  • 40 Suppliers (suppliers of seed, glass, cans, machinery, equipment, and other goods)

Membership Activity
You will find that you get full value from your membership if you are active in all Association functions. Come to our meetings and social events, take part in our programs. We want you to get your money's worth!

Membership Evaluation
Your Association is always anxious to get feedback from members on how we're doing. You will receive an Evaluation Sheet at the Annual Meeting to let us know your thoughts on that meeting. Occasionally we hand out evaluations at other meeting. Periodically, we set up a meeting with breakout groups to discuss the Association's functions.

Membership Recruiting
Your Association works hard to keep the food processing industry in New York State strong and viable. The more members we have, the more clout we have with legislators and regulatory agencies. Networking at our meetings is also enhanced by the number of companies represented. You can do your part by helping us recruit new members - processors, wineries, warehouses, and suppliers. This is also important in keeping our dues at a manageable level in these days of increasing costs.
